I had in mind what he asked:
Does anyone have a way to disable the validation for a specific
Remote Method Invocation (RMI), or and elegant way to not send the
RMI unless the EO passes validation?
I didn't in particular try to guess why these were his options (which
seem at odds to me, but hey, what do I know).
To validate an EC, you can processRecentChanges() which flushes the
cascading deletes and stuff and then validate the EOs in inserted/
updated/deletedObjects individually. There is also a trySaveChanges()
in the EC, but that's deprecated.
Cheers, Anjo
