I think just WOTextField formats input.
Yeah, the Wonder one doesn't even try to set a value if parsing
fails - which is the correct way in my opinion. For what do I have
the formatter?!
I am guessing this is an attempt to deal with the problem of the input
value getting discarded if it failed to format. It is reasonable to
want to show the invalid value to the user with a message and allow
them to edit it into the correct format. This is just the wrong way
to do that.
What other diffs are there between Wonder's and WO5.4.x for this
stuff?
No idea. The two classes look quite different.
The one in Wonder is probably quite old - but with the nice touch
that it does what you'd expect ... :-)
I like that in a piece of software. :-)
