Xavier:

I posted about a similar problem last week on the deployment list. Wade Price posted a solution to a problem he was having and it ended up being the same as mine:

"The new application startup script fails if the environment variable
HOME is not set. This is a problem since wotaskd is started by
launchd, it has no HOME variable in its environment. Therefore any
apps launched by wotaskd also do not have a HOME environment variable.
As a result, they fail to launch."

Hello,
I'm starting to run out of ideas...
Here's what I have done so far:
-I've updated the wonder frameworks
-I've put a project into subversion using the subversive plugin (Eclipse)
-I've updated a couple method in my application but nothing really heavy

I'm developing and deploying on 10.5.4 using the latest wonder 5.3 frameworks (as of yesterday evening) with wo 5.3 (default wotaskd and womonitor for now, not the wonder ones). Using Eclipse 3.4, WOLips 3.4.5477 and Subversive 2.0.1.

The application runs fine in development mode. There is actually 2 applications and a framework.
Here's the issues:
-Both applications won't start automatically using monitor
-If I start them directly on the command line using the same settings they work
-One of them would die eventually quite rapidly with nothing in the log (and won't restart automatically)

Extra issues:
-We had to change the accentuated characters in our html as we had issues with the subversive move
-When I built the apps/framework I have the .wo folder created but no files in them
-I tried to update the ant file, but no success (and I can't find the "replace with latest ant file" in the latest wolips)

I'm just running out of ideas:(

Anyone with a beginning of a pointer;)

Thanks,

Xavier
