The application runs fine in development mode. There is actually 2 applications and a framework.
Here's the issues:
-Both applications won't start automatically using monitor
-If I start them directly on the command line using the same settings they work
-One of them would die eventually quite rapidly with nothing in the log (and won't restart automatically)

What about permissions? When you run on the commandline, do you use the appserver user?

Actually the permissions were like before with 775 with root:wheel.
And changing them to _appserver:_appserveradm made one of the 2 auto- launch.
So I don't know what has changed but maybe something in the startup script is looking for _appserver (I haven't checked for now). But it's really weird the other (old) apps are working correctly with root:wheel...

Anyway this leads me to a bug in the other app that doesn't start, maybe a dependency with a missing .wo folder.
Does anyone had the issue with empty .wo folder when building?
Where could I check for this?

Thanks Guido for the permission tip, I should remember to always try the basics first:)

-I tried to update the ant file, but no success (and I can't find the "replace with latest ant file" in the latest wolips)

I created a new framework project and a new application project and copied the relevant parts of the build.xml file into my own projects (everything but the line with the project name). I haven't done any deployment with that yet.
