Hello Alexis;
(3.aug.2009)
Andrew Lindesay faces the same issue with his message "War / Maven /
Jar Build – How Does it Work wi th Eclipse's "Build Automatically"?"
I have lodged an issue with Apple about this and they are aware of
it. The problem is that there are two ways for a servlet's classpath/
bundle to work and this is controlled by the "WOJarBundle" context-
param in the deployment descriptor. If this is "NO" then WebObjects
falls back to old-school class paths and expects WebObjects to be
installed in places such as "/System/Library/Framework" etc...
probably not workable. If this is "YES" then WebObjects expects that
the "main bundle" which contains your application and resources is in
a jar file within the servlet. All well and good, but Eclipse can't
incrementally create a jar file so this doesn't work. I hope Apple
can do something about resolving this issue.
Attached is a PDF illustrating the issue.
cheers.
