Hi Ray,

I have not worked with the Windows stuff for a long time, but I am working with the ant build for Project Wonder right now. Are you trying to create a regular WebObjects app, or one of the other app types?

I tried to build a standard, fresh application by creating a new WebObjects Application from the project templates. Nothing custom in it, just one WO 5.4 method call to verify the version.

When you say "the tutorial for parallel handling from the wiki", what page are you referring to? What URL?

This: http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WOL/Using+WOLips+With+Multiple+Versions+of+WebObjects
It was posted not long ago on this list.

What does your WO installations look like?
It is a WO 5.2.3 installation on Windows with additional WO 5.4 downloaded with the WOInstaller of mdimension. To get the compilation in Eclipse to work I copied the Libray frameworks from 5.4 into the 5.2 location. I havn't found a way yet to get Eclipse to use the separated 5.4 frameworks.

FYI, calling Apple makes no sense. The eclipse development environment is an open-source project and not something from Apple. Are you sending to the right mailing list? The email@hidden list is the mailing list for the WOLips development environment. Note that that list is not hosted by Apple. The WebObjects-dev list is probably better used for questions about just the WebObjects frameworks themselves.

Yes I know that. I had two different problems, the ant problem not related with Apple at all. The woproject list would maybe be more appropriate, but normaly the people here are helpful too.
My second question regarding the license was pure taking the chance as I know that some Apple members are following this list. I only hoped for an email adress here.

If you can provide more information, I or others may be able to assist.

cheers - ray

Thank you for your offer. With the help of Amiel I could solve my problem already.

It had come from:
- wolips.properties is not created on windows
- the buildfile woproperties.xml wich was recommended to run did not exists either
- in my manual created wolips.properties I only included "wo.system.frameworks" and "wo.local.frameworks" as stated by the ant error message
- the next error message coming from the method (stack trace omitted) org.objectstyle.woproject.ant.WOApplication.getWOEnvironment() says the "wobuild.properties" is missing. Maybe the error message is wrong here?

To solve that I included all the properties listed by Amiel into my wolips.properties and get the ant build working.

Regards,
Susanne
