I never knew that!
All this time I thought you had to edit the .d2wmodel files that were in the build folder....
Ted,
Unfortunately I haven't completed the 'getting started' podcast and I jumped right into the ERExcelLook one (I blame David Holt... ;-)
Anyway, what might be happening is that your user.d2wmodel is not getting updated.
Check the user.d2wmodel file in build/YourProject.woa/Contents/Resources/user.d2wmodel if it doesn''t contain your changes then that's your problem.
RuleModeler communicates with WOLips using the WOLips server so if you haven't yet, you'll need to configure that:
1. Go to Eclipse->Preferences->WOLips->WOLips Server and make sure it's enabled and make note of the server port and password
2. Apply any changes
3. Go to RuleModeler -> Preferences and set the port and password to match the WOLips Server values from above.
To be safe, quite Eclipse and RuleModeler and then launch Eclipse first followed by RuleModeler.
This should make the rule files you edit update for running applications.
