Originally I thought it would be convenient if people could just copy the rule and paste it into their xxx.d2wmodel. However, it seems even though Rule Modeler deals with text, it copies/pastes non text resources, so the only way to provide a such convenience is to download a *.d2wmodel file (text) containing the rules (of change Rule Modeler).

So I would change the page to the above rule description format and also put rules in some file, like, objectstylewikirules.d2wmodel which people could just download.

What do you think?

I think that most D2W developers get pretty used to seeing the format above.


I'm not sure that the convenience of a downloadable rule file will outweigh the effort of having to maintain it as additions are made to the wiki page.
