Originally I thought it would be convenient if people could just
copy the rule and paste it into their xxx.d2wmodel. However, it
seems even though Rule Modeler deals with text, it copies/pastes
non text resources, so the only way to provide a such convenience
is to download a *.d2wmodel file (text) containing the rules (of
change Rule Modeler).
So I would change the page to the above rule description format and
also put rules in some file, like, objectstylewikirules.d2wmodel
which people could just download.
What do you think?
I think that most D2W developers get pretty used to seeing the
format above.
I'm not sure that the convenience of a downloadable rule file will
outweigh the effort of having to maintain it as additions are made
to the wiki page.
It's too bad that there is no comments field for rules in the rule
file. If so, the rule file itself could be the resource.
