We're not using wonder.
Our application code is using Java 1.4.2 and the webserver is 1.5.0_19. We wonder if this can cause problems as well.
Thank you

The other web applications on the same machine are ok. We did not try the 'graceful' command.
We are running on WebOjects 5.2.4 and java version "1.5.0_19" on this box.
After reverting all of our patches, the problem was resolved...so it seems that one of those 153 was the culprit. We suspect the Apache patch. Don't know if it was caused because of the older version of WO though.
Are you running the WOAdaptor from Wonder?
If not, you should consider it.
If you are, you should update to sources to revision: 10806
as of: 2010-04-26 19:04:20 +0000 (Mon, 26 Apr 2010)
That version has some changes to the logging so that when enabled with the 'WebObjectsLog' directive you'll either get messages in the named file or notices of configuration problems in the Apache error logs.
I don't know if your problem is related to WOAdaptor problems but if it is, you'll want these changes! ;-)
Good luck!
M.
