After getting the deployment server migrated to the new IP service I tried to then begin to set up the development machine, 10.6.3, WO 5.4, Eclipse/WOLips .

All 3 WO projects report the same kind of direction problem, all I have done is moved from a DHCP to a static IP, <devStaticIPaddress>.

The development machine is connected to the Internet via Ethernet and a fixed IP address, I refer to the IP as <devStaticIPaddress>.

Safari can’t open the page

“http://<devStaticIPaddress>-washington.hfc.comcastbusiness.net/cgi- bin/WebObjects/tyf.woa/-5555”
because Safari can’t find the server
“<devStaticIPaddress>-washington.hfc.comcastbusiness.net”.

Why does it say "-washington.hfc.comcastbusiness.net" after the IP address?
Do you have a WOHost setting in the Eclipse launch config (WO tab)?
WOHost <devStaticIPaddress>

I get the same result if I change the Host from <localhost> to <devStaticIPaddress>.
