This URL should work even with a password set. It's the default one used by the WOAdaptor.
I get this message from curl when the host name can be resolved but curl can't connect to the port. Please try the curl command from the machine web01.polestarpilates.com and see if that works? Perhaps you're getting hit by a firewall or some other config problem.
