Too bad about WOWODC, but additions to Wonder are always welcome!

Sad to say, although I was planning on going to WOWODC this year, I've had to change my plans, so I'm not going to be able to make it. So anything from me in person would have to wait until next time. But I'm hoping to extract the general things I'm learning into some classes for Wonder or at least some documentation once it gets more stable and robust.

No, there are already several good data binding frameworks that are more widely used. I'm using jgoodies data binding. The is also a proposed standard binding framework for swing and the jface data binding framework (or uface). All of those would be better choices in my opinion if only because someone else is using them.
I did write a custom adaptor for jgoodies to support KVC instead of the bean style properties. On May 26, 2011, at 7:05 PM, David Avendasora < email@hidden> wrote: Hi John,
Did you ever end up doing anything with Flor's JBND stuff? We're using Java Client instead of GWT or a web app primarily because the apps need to be able to run offline (and do so in a robust way, not like HTML5).
I have a pretty wicked setup: 1) Wonder on the server 2) Wonder on the client 3) A local database on the client (Firebird) that is synced with the server using EODistribution.
4) EOF+EODistribution only. No EOApplication or EOInterface, etc. It turns out that EODistribution is really all you need; you could write the app using any UI toolkit, or even use EODistribution to transfer data between two WO server apps. It also works with Android... which is kind of ironic.
