Hi Webobjects community,
this is my first post on the mail list, I have just started messing with D2W
(and it is not so long since I started to learn webobjects either),
I am trying to mess with the default wonder d2w app
because I feel like this will be a great asset in my developing times
( I'm current studying and working as an intern so I would love to increase my productivity),
well lets get to the point,
i would like to know how to embed non-d2w components in the default d2w wrapper,
to click on one of the free tabs and get it, I'm not sure how to do this,
one example of what i want to do is give my admins a menu where they can manage the a database
in one tab and i want to put a component that i have already done with the one I monitor some AsteriskQueues,
but i have no clue of how to get the tab to use my component
(i usually end with my component not being parsed and my webobjects tags going directly to the html),
I have been trying to find another question related to this but i was not able to find any,
so i expect it to be so simple that it will be a quick answer.
by the way, i have been reading a lot about the red book (professional webobjects 5.0 with java) but i cant get it, has anyone scanned it?
does it exist in ebook format?
i have problems getting this discontinued English books in Mexico.
or better, has anyone wrote a book or extended tutorial in the d2w arts in the last 5 years?
(i would love to read about the last frameworks and eclipse wolips and wonders rather than xcode and discontinued tools).
