Hello Emmanuel,
First, welcome to the community!
I can't answer for D2W question, but for documentation, we have a couple of screencasts about D2W here:
http://www.wocommunity.org/webobjects_screencasts.html
You can access the WOWODC 2011 recordings by becoming a WOCommunity paid member, but the slides for those presentations are also available on SlideShare:
http://www.slideshare.net/wocommunity/
Ramsey did a presentation on how to integrate D2W components in "regular" WO components, but look like I don't have a copy of the slides.
About the Wrox book, I had to buy my copy from a Amazon reseller, but you can get the code sample from here: https://github.com/wocommunity/WroxBook
