Thanks Pascal, it sounds like you are pretty frustrated with Apple.

I think that as a Community though that this is one of the topics that might need resolving.

Or Apple is dropped from the equation completely and the WO Community gets organized so that a structure exists for financing and allocation of resources.

I would love to contribute but I don't think my code would benefit in any way as there are better programmers with better understanding of the needs.

I still would like to contribute to a membership scheme though in some financial way if there was a roadmap to work towards...

Gino

Has the WOCommunity spoke directly to Apple about this?

Listen, many things have been done, and none worked. If you think you change the situation, go ahead, but I'm not going to do anything more because I know it won't work. I stopped waiting for the messiah 18 months ago and I prefer to actually going forward than waiting for something that won't happen.

They obviously share in Wonder Code and surely they would not deny the WOCommunity code on that basis?

Have you seen Apple code in Wonder that was committed in the last 12 months? No? You have the answer.

So do they extend its functionality and then do not release the code?

Looks like it.

Well I for one would like to have some sort of contribution scheme fixed on an annual membership for development etc...

And just so I am not too behind on what is the current state of the union - what is the Apple current think on WO. I think I read here that they are no longer contributing to its development. Is that correct? Any one know of their plans for the software?

They keep it for themselves, and it won't change, plain and simple. Many things have been done to try to change that, and nothing worked.
