I went back and reread your original message. Your current deployment machine OS is going to be replaced. What are you replacing it with?
I recommend that you use VMware vSphere Hypervisor (it’s free). The beautiful part of this is that you can audition many different deployments and then choose the one that you feel comfortable with.
I really love working in VMware Hypervisor! Don’t be afraid of compiling, it really isn’t that bad.
