Ok, so I got through the install of a deployment environment on Amazon with Red Hat linux. I screwed the pooch the first try, but I was able to compile mod_webobjects.so on the instance and get it set up for WO.
I just went to localhost:56789 and I get the newest Monitor, so I am happy.

I forgot also that Red Hat would be using SELinux so I added:

sudo setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect=1

and it looks like its happy.
