Hi Ted,

I still haven't finished my framework and d2w archetypes yet, but some wo archetypes do exist and you can use them even though they are probably quite old. In eclipse preferences, you can add an archetype catalog. The url to the catalog is,
https://maven.wocommunity.org/service/local/repositories/releases/content/archetype-catalog.xml

That should give you some archetypes to create apps and frameworks etc. If I remember correctly, the created projects do not have repositories declared in the pom.xml and expect you to instead modify your .m2/settings.xml file like,
https://wiki.wocommunity.org/xwiki/bin/view/WOL/Home/WOProject-Maven/Quick Start/

If, like me, you prefer projects to work with no configuration after you checkout the repo, then you can declare the repository information in the pom.xml like I do in my one published archetype so far.
However you manage to get the WO jars, once you have the webobjects jars
in your .m2/repository, you shouldn't need a WOInstall webobjects home
of any kind. WOLips and your maven projects will find everything they
need to operate in your maven repository.

There is no WO at all on this machine.

First, is there on the WIKI an instruction listing what needs to be installed?

If I go straight to using maven, are there instructions for creating D2W apps
and creating and using custom frameworks? I have always split my Model into its
own framework.

Ted
