I use
List-Id is equal to: X11 for Mac OS X discussion list
<x11-users.lists.apple.com>
and that works pretty well in Mail.
Cheers

I've checked the FAQ and see no mention of this. With the other lists
I belong to I can make the list's name appear in the subject header.
This helps with filtering out spam. Is there some way I can make this
lists's name appear in all appropriate subject headers?
As an alternative, try filtering on "to: or cc: contains x11-users".
Works for me (with Apple's Mail.app).
