P.S. Actually this only works for the launched XTerm. Additional
terminals don't have the scrollbar. Also, this does not help with the
other features I wanted. I.E. 1000 lines, etc.

Another group manager gave me this: xterm -sb -rightbar
This gives me the Xterm with a right-hand scrollbar. Actually I
added this to my .xinitrc
xterm -sb -rightbar &
quartz-wm
It's a working scrollbar, albiet grey. I don't know if it's possible
to get the blue bar.

I believe you need to specify "True" rather than "on" to enable an
option. At least that's what works for me.

I have created a .Xresources in my home directory and added the
following: XTerm*saveLines: 1000
XTerm*scrollBar: on
XTerm*thickness: 10
XTerm*background: gainsboro
XTerm*foreground: black
XTerm*faceName: Monaco
XTerm*faceSize: 10
XTerm*reverseWrap: on
I am still not getting a scrollbar on my Xterm. What have I
missed? Also, I used to automatically have a terminal launched when I
clicked to start XTerm. Now I have to click the drop down menu and
choose Xterm? Tia
