Hi Jess,
Thanks for taking the time to make a suggestion. But I don't think we
are on the same track yet. My question is about Apple Script or the Dock or
maybe both, it has nothing to do with X11 directly. Of course you could
then say that means I'm in the wrong list here - if so I apologize and please
suggest the correct list. But I know this technique of launching the X11
server automatically then the X11 app from an Apple Script so the user is less
aware that X11 is being used has been discussed here before, so I thought it
might be the place to carry this technique one step further.
Please let me ask one more time:
How do I set the icon that appears in the Dock for an Apple Script program?
All my AS programs have the same icon in the dock: the wavy paper sitting on a
flat base, and I would rather show something more directly suggestive of what
happens when the user clicks on that dock icon, not how it happens to be
written.
