Unfortunately, no. Although there is progress because I have now learned that
the little icon in the General Section of Get Info is active and actually
means something!
Just to eliminate that my icon is somehow unacceptable, I tried to use the
icon from another app (itunes). I did Copy from Finder when the icon showing
in Get Info for itunes was highlighted, confirmed via Show Clipboard the
itunes icon really was copied, then did Paste when the icon for my apple
script was highlighted in its Get Info. What happened was the icon for my
apple script became some sort of generic icon for the PNG file format in
general, but not the actual itunes icon picture. So this seems to be another
slant on this icon business, perhaps unrelated?
More ideas welcome... thanks in advance.
