What'd be really cool is if Apple releases their modifications to X11.app
so that XDarwin can integrate the hardware-accelerated OpenGL stuff.
You aren't quite up to date with your informations:
- XDarwin had hardware-accelerated OpenGL before Apple's X11 came out.
It has been in the xfree86-4.2.99 sources for quite a while, and it will
be in the RSN-to-be-released xfree86-4.3.
- Apple did release the sources to their X11 stuff (except for the
quartz-wm window manager). You can download them from Apple's web site.
