Oddly enough, it's even documented. After the spate of undocumented
magical switches in Apple-added software, I had just presumed I'd have
to wait for the FAQ to come around again, or be updated on the web
site.
Sorry, but the reputation has been established. :(
(Just to put it together, it's "quartz-wm --only-proxy".)
