Hiding X11's menu bar under KDE

  • Subject: Hiding X11's menu bar under KDE

Hi,
I use KDE 3.0.7 with Apple9s X11 v. 0.2.1. Everything works fine except when
a KDE window opens up at the top of the screen with it9s title bar hidden
underneath X119s menu bar. In which case the KDE window cannot be moved
around by grabbing its title bar.
Is there a way to hide X119s menu bar (such as with a keyboard command to
toggle the menu bar on and off) ? Alternatively, is there a way to instruct
the window manager to start KDE9s desktop space just below X119s menubar
rather than underneath it (am I clear here) ?
Edward
