Howdy,
I was wondering do you have gimp-print or some other aftermarket
printer driver installed? The reason I ask is that I could not print
Postscript via lpr using the default cups configuration because all of
my printer drivers wanted pdf and there is no ps->pdf filter. I wrote
one [one of those 5 minute tasks that takes all day :-( ] and now
everything works beautifully.
I am curious what was the difference between our systems as it just
seems to work for some people and not for others (at least me).
If there is any interest I can make my little filter available if this
actually is an issue for anyone.
