Is there anyone else on this list who uses a mobile computer with X11 0.2.1,
a home and work network (different IP addresses), no connections to other X
Servers, and who has a setup that does not have this problem? If so, could
you tell me what your values are that are different from mine above?
I have both checkboxes in the Security panel off. defaults reports
"no_auth" = 1;
"nolisten_tcp" = 1;
(I can make remote connections with ssh X tunneling.) The only
difference I see in our setups is that you have "no_listen_tcp" AND
"nolisten_tcp", but I'd expect that "no_listen_tcp" is a typo that
should be ignored when the defaults file is parsed... Have you tried
removing it?
I *don't* see the kinds of problems you're reporting. The problem I
do see is that sometimes, but not always, after I switch locations
one of my Eterm windows crashes. As far as I've noticed it's always
been the window attached to /dev/ttyp1.
