On X11 0.2 on Mac OS X 10.2.4 when I try and run xman from my xterm,

All of the manual pages selected from the sections menu of xman start
with %!PS-Adobe 3.0
Why is this and how do I fix it so that xman will format a manual
page that I can actually read??

ok, I guess someone is going to tell me again that I need to have the
Apple Developer Tools installed but as an average Mac user, why?
At least for the next beta release it should say in the first splash
page of the X11 for Mac OS X Installer "You need to have Apple
Developer Tools Installed for full operation".
I guess the real question is why would Apple not install binutils and
such from the the developer tools by default? (I don't mean with X11,
I mean with all OS X systems.) Does it really take up that much space,
or do they think in some way having it as a separate install will
reduce maintenance costs?
