Well, if it's a feature then I don't understand it!
But it's working as intended, the X server isn't able to hide the
windows itself,
OK, I can see that X11 can't hide Ice's windows.
so it sends an event to the window manager asking it to do it
X11 sends an event to Ice?
How and/or when?
For now I simply select an empty virtual desktop; that, combined with a
hidden task bar works out nicely? If I may be so bold, are there plans
for multiple desktops for X11?
