$ export DISPLAY=$(hostname -s):0.0
$ xauth extract - $DISPLAY | ssh sunhost xauth merge -
$ ssh -X sunhost /usr/dt/bin/dtterm -ls

Hi All,
I just made the classic mistake of having my firewall on while trying
to start up an application
from my Sun on my Mac. It just wait and tells you nothing.
What would be a good firewall rule on the Mac, so you can use x11
without having to switch off
the firewall ?
Apologies if this was already issued, I searched but couldn't find.....
Cheers,
Lennart Broekhof
