OK, first I tried installing Apple's SDK (which I hadn't earlier) and
re-compiling the GNU distribution of plotutils. Same result, just
wrote garbage characters to the xterm window instead of drawing a plot.
I then went ahead and downloaded fink, but I don't see plotutils in the
onscreen menu it presents (although it is listed as a package on their
website). It does show gnuplot, but that is a somewhat different
beast. So how do I install plotutils from fink?
