I am Thomas Ungricht and new to this list and to the Unix-side of

I am looking for info on experiences with X11 and MacGimp and OpenOffice
(1.0.1 final beta).
I do miss something like an x11.app. Is the whole thing working in the
background?
Is there any documentation at all on x11?
