Running installed binaries

  • Subject: Running installed binaries

I installed many binaries using FinkCommander, but when I type the name of the application in the terminal I get "command not found".
How do I know what the name of a specific binary installation?
How do I keep track binaries installed on my computer?
I have many that didn't run, and some that runs
I have GNOM and KDE installed if that help
thanks
