I'm seeing two problems when I iconify ("minimize") a window:

1) The icon for the window only seems to appear in the Dock the first time it's iconified. Every other time nothing appears in the dock at all, however the space where an icon should be is there. It's as if the icon is invisible. (Probably many other people have seen this and reported it already, I would think, but I felt I should mention it anyway.)

this should be fixed in the next release

2) If a window is iconified and it receives a beep (the X11 program produces a beep using the X11 routine to do so), then it will uniconify and pop to the top of whatever else you're doing. (Well, it'd be nice to be able to configure that, but I guess it's ok. That's not the issue here.) Once it has uniconified and popped to the top, you can't iconify it again!

this sounds like it may be a similar problem. I can't reproduce it here with our latest build. (I tried by doing 'sleep 5 ; printf "\a"' in an xterm then minimizing it before the sleep finishes.) What app were you using?
