When you encounter errors like the one below, run the command "xhost +"
(yes that is a plus sign) from the Mac which is running Apple's X11
server. You may want to run this command from within the initial xterm
created when you launch X11.
Hi list,
I just installed Apple X11.
Then, I try to run a xterm in my FreeBSD box with DISPLAY set to my
Jaguar, but the X server in Jaguar rejected it:
(bose = freebsd, fermi = Macintosh)
=================
bose:~> xterm
Xlib: connection to "fermi:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: fermi:0.0
bose:~>
================
I can't run any X app in remote machine. Any clue?
Regards,
Victor Tsang
