Where do I find the system default xinitrc?
By default, X11 for Mac OS X does not install a default .xinitrc file.
Please see the FAQ : http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2001/qa1232.html
for more info.
Also, I have seen a number of issues that have been "resolved", but no
mention if a new version has
been posted to apple's download site, How do a keep current? How will
I know when to download a
new beta?
These issues have been resolved internally at Apple. There has not been
any release past the initial beta release. I cannot comment on when the
next release will be, but I will announce it here on the x11-users
mailing list.
