Head over to VersionTracker.com and download/install FINK & FinkCommander.

From FindCommander, install bundle-kde-ssl

and make sure to place:

  source /sw/bin/init.sh /sw/bin/startkde >/sw/var/log/kde.log 2>&1

in your .xinitrc file (you may need to make one - it goes in your user folder).

I would recommend only using Fink to install stuff for use, at least until you know what you are doing.
