Exactly. Moreover, you (bryan) seem to get an xauth list when you ssh into
ecstasy _without_ the -X flag and nothing when you use it. This is the
opposite of what should happen. I concur with Glenn: something is messing
up your configuration. Maybe you should inspect your dotfiles (.cshrc,
.login if you use the tcsh) and /etc/csh.* on habanero. Plus have a look
at /etc/sshd_config on habanero. Is something running xauth in a .login or
/etc/csh.login file?
