I'm using OpenOffice 1.0.1 and Apple X11 0.2.1. If I start a
fullscreen presentation (slide show)

apple menu) are visible, too. Therefore the slides are cutted and
this looks very poor.
Are there any hints? I try using OpenOffice for business and this
problem is a big problem to me.
You really want to be running in full screen mode for this.
Unless/until Apple includes XFree86's full screen mode in Apple X11,
you should stick with XFree86 4.3.0. Note that in older version of
XFree86 the full screen mode is very slow, but in 4.3.0 you'll get
performance roughly comparable to rootless for 2-D graphics.
