Thanks to the help of this list I am now running Gimp and Open Office through X11. Thanks every for your help. As I was using Gimp I thought of something that would be really cool and wondered if it were possible. In KDE and Gnome a person can download a theme and change the windows, buttons, menus, and etc. It would be cool if someone made an "Aqua" theme and we could apply it in X11. That way Gimp would look as Aqua as it would ever get without being an Aqua app. Is this a possibility? If it isn't I'll request it as a feature: themes. Thanks everyone for all your help.
