Multi-monitor behavior with Apple's X11.app

I am running Apple's X11 (v.3) with two monitors. I noticed that when running programs such as OpenOfice, the windows are centered between the two screens. For instance, when creating a new document in OpenOffice, the window is sliced in half by the two monitors. Of course I can drag the window over to my first screen.

I was wondering if there is a preference I can set so that Apple's X11 and quartz-wm use only one monitor?
