Help - Windows are "stuck' in upper left corner of screen.

Hi All,
I'm sure this is an FAQ but a quick search did not find the answer.
I have the Apple X-server and it was running fine. Windows were movable and expandable as they ought to be and all seemed to work as expected.
I recently added some other programs and perhaps changed some params (not sure about this) but I think my offending app is "TeX-Shop" which installed OroborosX - I think - I am afraid that there is some incompatibility here but am not sure. I did not find the answer in the TeXshop help file - at least not yet.
Could some one point me to the right source of info to get this fixed and back to the way it was?
TIA
Henry Smith
