TeXShop does NOT install OroborosX, nor does it interact at all with
X11. I have both TeXShop and X11 installed and running on multiple
Macs and do not have the problem you mention. To use TeXShop, you must
also install a TeX engine. Depending on which TeX package you
installed, changes may have been made to your environment that impacted
X11. (Fink, perhaps?) But I suspect that is unlikely to be the cause.
More likely are the "params" you say you changed -- details?
Could some one point me to the right source of info to get this fixed
and back to the way it was?
Start by restoring the preference and configuration files from the
backup you made before you started adding other programs. If that does
not resolve your problem, you might consider a fresh install of
X11.app. Odds are this won't work, but it's a reasonable place to
start if any more detailed information of what changes you made is
unavailable. But make a backup first!
