Hi,
I had the unfortunate event of doing something stupid. Some where
along the
implementation of VTK a library or libraries may have been replaced.
Now, while using my Terminal app I get the following error
[gakabanipbg4:~] gamal% clear
dyld: clear version mismatch for library: /usr/lib/libncurses.5.dylib
(compatibility version of user: 6.0.0 greater than library's version:
5.0.0)
Trace/BPT trap
Your libncurses.dylib in /usr/lib is probably still OK. Your problem is
that you have or had another newer one in /usr/local/lib or /sw/lib,
and
you compiled your "clear" program (usually part of an ncurses package)
with that other version. Then you removed or hid the other version. Try
which clear
to see what you have instead of /usr/bin/clear, and
otool `which clear`
I have gotten many lucid replies in the past from Martin (mainly on the
fink list) and I wouldn't pretend to know as much as he does, but
perhaps things would work better with
otool -L `which clear`
