I run X just so I can get XEmacs to work. I switched from XDarwin to
X11.app because the latter loads faster than does the former, and I have
fewer crashes with it. But everything other thasn XEmacs I could run as
simply in terminal. Sometimes I use Word for work thinghs, and I run eXcel,
so X doesn't help there.
