Some people have been using other WMs for many years on other platforms.
Some of those WMs are highly configurable, and long-time users have
tweaked them extensively to fit their work habits. The switch to
quartz-wm would be quite painful to them.
"Would be"? "*Would* be"? It *is*! *Very* painful. If the apps were there
for Linux, I'd be using that.
