Indeed, that's my point. Under X11 it works fine, but not under Apple's
OS X GUI (isn't there a better name for it?).
Apparently, it's because the OS X GUI doesn't have a window manager, and
relies on the app to do stuff like minimize etc.
Anyway, this is all somewhat OT, so let's let it drop, eh?
