After your original post, I decided to look into fondu. With it (and
ttf2bdf/bdftopcf) I created some X fonts based on the four fonts I liked
the best in Aqua apps. I think that using -fn "full-font-spec" creates a
more readable version of the font for my PowerBook (crisper without any hint
of smoothing), but the -fa option gives me a font with exactly the same
look as in Aqua-fuzzy. But I thought the KayPro had a readable font,
so there is no accounting for taste.
