Tim-
I just wanted to note that the version of X11 that comes with Apple's
Panther OSX does indeed work OK with VNMR. Not sure what they changed,
but apparently there is some difference between the beta version and
version 1.0 with respect to VNMR.
Best regards.

I have found vnmr to be a bit of a strange program. I did not put
much effort in to figure this one out, and just gave up on X11 beta.
I went back to XDarwin and blackbox wm. With these, vnmr still
behaves strangely, but it works. I would like to hear from anyone
else who has vnmr running remotely from OSX.

Just an addendum to a previous message I posted here. If I unlimit
the stack size for x11 in a shell before running it there, it still
crashes, but the crash log shows a slightly different result shown
below. Instead of KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE it shows
KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS. Still looking for any ideas if any are out >
there.
